As NYS health and safety measures shift and allow for more flexibility, we are beginning to roll out in-person opportunities to welcome you back to the land. While many of these events will be smaller in capacity, we will try to offer as many opportunities as we can for you to join us. We will also continue to host digital events for you to learn and engage in our current work.
Check our current schedule of events below. We love our community and look forward to connecting with you again!
Be sure to sign up for our e-news and to join us on social media so you can stay up-to-date on our digital and in-person events, and hear the latest conservation stories.

Time: 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Place: Cambridge Community Forest
Address: 15 Rockside Drive, Cambridge, NY 12816
Birding is basically a lifelong scavenger hunt played across the entire earth. It’s equal parts science and poetry, hoots of triumph and quiet reflection, adventures to far-flung corners of the world and discoveries in your own backyard.
If you’ve always loved birds but never known how to actually make the leap, Join Sue Van Hook on Saturday mornings at the CCF from 9:00 - 10:30 am to get started. Binoculars are highly recommended.
There is a suggested donation of $5 to ASA for this program to benefit The Fund for the Forest.
Parking is available in designated lots only. Please do not park on the street near the forest entrance.
Co-sponsored by the Grassland Bird Trust.
