Regenerating Soil Health for Resilience

A Workshop Featuring Guest Speaker Didi Pershouse

Join us to learn about strategies to build the health of our agricultural soils by supporting the web of soil life that creates a “soil sponge”, capable of restoring the natural carbon and water cycles that determine our climate. By re-creating landscapes that soak up rain, retain nutrients and filter water, we can build community resilience in the face of extreme weather events. These practices can also improve your bottom line.

This workshop is geared towards farmers and students.

Didi Pershouse is the author of The Ecology of Care: Medicine, Agriculture, Money and the Quiet Power of Human and Microbial Communities, and President of The Soil Carbon Coalition. She develops curriculum on soil health principles and whole systems landscape function, and facilitates workshops.
Space is limited. Please register early and no later than April 5th.

The Soil Carbon Coalition is a nonprofit organization that advances the practice, and spread awareness of the opportunity, of turning atmospheric carbon into living landscapes and soil carbon.
