Join the Agricultural Stewardship Association (ASA) on Tuesday, November 12th, 6-8 pm for a webinar called Understanding Appropriate Agricultural Land Uses and Setting Realistic Land Values featuring guest speaker Nicole Tommell from the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Central New York Dairy, Field Crops and Livestock Team.

Whether you are a landowner or are looking for farmland, understanding the best and most appropriate use of agricultural land, as well as its value are critical components of building a successful farm enterprise. Join ASA as we connect to this webinar to learn how to set realistic land values, including rental fees, and how to evaluate land for appropriate uses.

This informative webinar will take place at the ASA office at 2531 State Route 40, Greenwich, NY 12834.

Cost is $10.00 per household or farm and will include snacks and refreshments. Registration is required.

This webinar is a project of the Farmland for a New Generation New York, a program coordinated by American Farmland Trust, in partnership with the state of New York, agricultural organizations, land trusts, and others, that helps farmers seeking land and landowners wanting to keep their land in farming.
