New York features some of the most beautiful and diverse forests in the nation, and as more invasive species get a foothold in our region, they become increasingly under threat. Join Addison Kubik, Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Capital Region Partnership for Invasive Species Management (PRISM) for a webinar on the major pests threatening our forests. This webinar will be followed up by a woods walk at the Cambridge Community Forest to look for signs of invasives. We will learn which forest pests are found in our region and what we can do to help minimize their impact.
The Capital Region PRISM is hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County and is financially supported by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation via the Environmental Protection Fund. https://www.capitalregionprism.org/
