If you own land that you would like to make available for farming, please join the Agricultural Stewardship Association, Inc. and Saratoga PLAN
This program is for any landowner who would like to learn more about making their land available for farming. In this meeting Nicole Tommell from Cornell Cooperative Extension and farmers Jason Heitman and Andrea Grom will talk about what should be considered in developing a successful farm lease.
The “Learning Circle” approach makes room to hear from all participants. This is an opportunity to meet other landowners and service providers, discuss questions about your land and future goals, and learn about resources available to you. This evening is the first of several programs designed to support landowners in leasing their lands for agricultural production.
Refreshments will be served.
