The forest floor is waking up! Join Cambridge resident and Ecology Professor, Kerry Woods for an early Spring Wildflower Walk at the Cambridge Community Forest.

Each Spring, the forests of New York become dappled with wildflowers. Some plants, known as Spring ephemerals, can only be observed for a short time during the Spring months while they flower and produce seeds. This walk will be an opportunity for attendees to join Professor Woods on a leisurely walk and learn about the wildflowers in our forest.

Come and stretch your legs, and explore the beauty and habitat of the various Spring ephemerals.

Please register in advance.
