Programs and Events
Due to COVID-19 we are limiting our events to outdoor gatherings and virtual programs until further notice.
We have created several videos that highlight our work in the community. Please visit our YouTube Channel and follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to learn more about ASA and take a virtual farm tour of one of our conserved properties.

Time: 7:00 am
Place: Pencil Brook Farm
Address: 160 Gannon Road, Buskirk (South Cambridge)
Join local wildlife ecologist and artist Steve Sanford and the Agricultural Stewardship Association for a bird walk at Pencil Brook Farm in South Cambridge. The walk is for beginner and expert birders alike.
We will begin at 7:00 AM and venture through farm fields and woods to wetlands and brooks. We expect to see and hear scores of breeding birds and some of the later migrants.
No special footwear is necessary but participants should bring binoculars and shoes or boots that could stand some morning dew. We will meet at the farm at 160 Gannon Road and walk, watch and listen for about 2 hours.
Group size is limited to 20 people. Masks are required. In the event of heavy rains on the 3rd, the walk will be convened the following morning, on June 4.
This program is free to the public.
