Help ASA bring home the Wild Cider Cup!
We’re thrilled to share that the Agricultural Stewardship Association has been invited to compete in Nine Pin Cider’s Wild Cider Cup—a one-of-a-kind tasting event supporting local land conservation efforts!
Our cider, "Working Lands: First Press", was crafted from over 1,200lbs of hand-harvested wild, uncultivated apples across protected farms and forests in Washington and Rensselaer Counties. (A huge THANK YOU to our volunteers who helped harvest last Fall!)
Pressed into a crisp, well-balanced cider that captures the character of the land, Working Lands: First Press reflects our region’s deep agricultural heritage and thoughtful stewardship—bright, structured, and rooted in place.
On May 17, you can:
• Taste unique “wild” ciders from five local conservancies
• Vote for your favorite (we hope it’s ours! wink, wink!)
• Support the protection of farms, forests, and open space
Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass + samples of all five ciders—and every sip supports conservation!
